The Art of Self-Love
Family!
Let's talk about self -LOVE!
Love is a universal feeling, capable of moving mountains, connecting people, and enriching our lives.
But what does it really mean to love? This powerful emotion is processed within us and manifests in the external world. However, we often focus on the external, creating the illusion that love is something tangible and outside of ourselves.
For years, I heard the phrase "to love, you must love yourself first," and I dismissed it as a cliché.
I believed I loved myself above all else, but that wasn't true.
Only recently have I truly experienced self-love, and it has transformed my life.
I find myself in the midst of a process of introspective growth, an inner blossoming that leads me to question what I seek in the external world. I've learned that the answers aren't outside, but within me.
The key lies in listening to our inner silence, where wisdom and universal love reside.
Often, we become disconnected from ourselves due to the distractions of the external world. We forget to listen to ourselves, and this causes us to lose our way. In our interactions with others, especially in relationships that don't flourish, our self-love radar is activated. However, we don't always know how to interpret it.
All this process opens up some questions for us, some narratives that develop a plot that favors our search. For me, it was about sitting in silence and meditating. Yes, meditation is a fundamental key to listening to the silence because our silence holds our answers, and those answers are filled with universal love. That inner voice guides our path.
Therapy (psychoanalysis) became another essential tool for growth and self-love. It’s a process of untangling your unconscious world, unraveling the trauma, the walls of experiences—both individual and collective—that reside there. Through this exploration, you begin to uncover the layers of your psyche, exposing the hidden wounds and buried emotions. It’s a journey that allows you to break down the barriers that have shaped you, offering a pathway to deeper understanding, healing, and ultimately, a profound connection with your true self.
I wish to promote holistic care, especially mental care. I want you to discover that limitations don't exist if you're open to changing your perspective, willing to receive help, and allow yourself to feel. Remember, you are essential and a fundamental piece in the wonderful configuration the universe offers us.
Connecting with a more spiritual, peaceful vision isn’t about religion or esotericism. It’s about a connection with the divine, the force behind the unexplainable, the invisible. It’s what links us to universal love, flowing from you to the world.
When you learn to love yourself, you can love fully and unconditionally. This love is the force that carries the weight of life. The world is better if we love more.
Today, I invite you to love yourself. Embrace yourself. Forgive yourself. Seek the tools to understand and admire yourself, drawing strength from your own creation.
I hug you tight.
